2015 River Glen USEA Horse Trials

Breezy riding Corner Oak Celtic Star in CoStar's first horse trials.

This was Bre's 2nd event. They finished in 5th place! Both pony and young lady did a terrific job:-)

We had a wonderful camping spot right at the finish line, facing the back half of the upper level XC.

It was a beautiful weekend at River Glen (New Market, TN). Friday night/Saturday morning was near freezing temperatures, but when the sun cam out it warmed up nicely.

Above: Lou and Bre taking CoStar for a morning stretch. Bre braided CoStar herself and did a very nice job.

Lisa and Rick came down from Virginia for the weekend to cheer on the Foothills Connemara team.

After dressage, Breezy was tied for 13th place (out of 18 competitors) with a very respectable score of 35.

Cross Country was flawless. They even had a hold on course and Bre kept her cool, stopped and started her watch to keep track of her time.
Bre added a circle after the water to eat up a few sections to avoid speeding tickets, and came across the finish line with perfect timing.

They moved up with no cross-country penalties to finish in 5th place! video Jr. BN Cross-Country I am so proud of Breezy (and CoStar)!

Lou was a super helper; she is learning the ropes so she can event some day.
