Rhiannon with Mouse Trap

Rhiannon has moved on to water climates at Rosewood Farm in California!

Windrush Farm, New Hampshire: Debbie Shade has reported that the Florida girl, Balmullo’s Rhiannon, is doing well in her new home in the frozen north! She doesn’t seem to mind the snow as she has free access to her stall and still likes to come out and enjoy the outdoors. Rhiannon was previously owned by Michael Edwards and produced a number of foals for his Claymore Farm (2/07)

Rhiannon is a wonderful producer of sport ponies. She easily settles and has never had any problems with carrying and birthing her foals. She is easy to work with and has many years ahead of her as a broodmare. She is also a very sweet and easy pony to ride.

July 09, Glen, NH: Debbie Shade took her yearling Bold Testamony (Reputed Testamony (TB) X Balmullo's Rhiannon) to an evaluation with Eric Smiley from Ireland, a FEI International Judge. It was based on the Future Event Horse program. Debbie says, “Eric couldn't say enough good things about this yearling going as far as saying he is better than any of the horses he judged at the sanctioned Future Event Horse event last year, except one 5 year old, and better than his own yearling in Ireland. He went over all of the items of the sanctioned evaluation in detail, plus more..starting with suitable personality, then every part of the body, and then gaits. I am very proud of him.”
Another half-bred foal by Rhiannon received the highest score of any horse at the Hanoverian Inspections in Florida four years ago.

Windrush Farm, New Hampshire: Debbie Shade has written to say that Balmullo’s Rhiannon (CR Roaringwater Bay X Tullymor’s April Fool) produced a filly foal by Seven Hills Grey Ghost, aka “Mosby” (Fieldstream Nicholas[by Balius Brannigan] X Tullymor’s Heather Lass) on May 2. Debbie said, “ all went well, 10 minutes from the first sign of labor until her new filly was completely born and at the civilized hour of 8:45 PM. “Shadey Hills Oscea” is a bay, looks just like her mother and is very independent. Perfect in every way, the vet on her foal check was very impressed at how solid and mature she was.”

The filly is two weeks old in the photo. Rhiannon was previously owned by Mike Edwards of Florida where she produced many purebreds by “Mosby” including the dam of the champion colt at the ISR/Oldenburg Inspection held on Oct 3, Rastaman Jeeves (by a Hannoverian stallion).  (6/3/07)

 Rhianon's produce:

  • 1999 Claymore Amity bay mare (below) by Seven Hills Grey Ghost : Amity is approved for breeding with both the Connemara registry (ACPS) [received her international passport] and the ISR/OldNA Sport Pony division [Main Mare Book]. Amity produced a gorgeous Cob Stallion Prospect (reg. ISR Sport Pony) ~Rastaman Jeeves~ who was site champion mover and Colt Champion at the ISR/Old approvals
