ACPS Inspections were held at Foothills Farms in Athens, TN, on 10/30 and 10/31/21. This was our third time hosting. The first time was during the 1995 inaugural ACPS Inspection Tour, at our farm in East Bend, NC. The two visiting inspectiors were Eammon Hammond and Dermott Powers from Ireland. The second time hosting was in 1999, here at our farm in Athens, TN. This time we were honored with a visit by Lib Petch (Coosheen Stud), the guest inspector from Co. Cork, IRE. This year, Charlie and I were pleased to host 11 ponies, 8 guests, plus 3 Inspectors and extra help from Sky and Megahn. The 2021 Inspectors were Kathy Sparks, Gloria LaCroix and Sarah Thrasher. Kim Gates, Inspector Candidate, was also in attendance.

On October 30, the Inspectors started at Fade To Grey Farm in Georgia, then travelled to Foothills Farm in Athens, TN and began inspecting a few mares in the soft Irish weather. Fortunately we have a small covered arena so everyone kept dry. When the rain finally subcided, the inspections moved to the outdoor arena for the rest of Saturday, and all of Sunday, which turned out to be a glorious day.

Charlie and I would like to thank the Inspectors, all the participants that brought ponies, and for all our help doing this and that, keeping everything running smoothly. It was a successful weekend for all, I believe, with education and fellowship abounding.
