It was back to work for Carson and Bates this summer. Carson has been in training with Elizabeth Keathley; Bates has been working in long lines with me.

Congratulations to Kate Denton, Farkleberry Farm, Camden, SC, on her purchase of Foothills Honeysuckle Rose. Kate is calling her "Rosie"; she and Farkleberry Frolic have ambitions of doing the rated pony hunter divisions, and I am sure, will eventually breed. Frolic's dam was Reserve Champion Purebred at the ACPS Region 4 show the same year that Rosie's dam, Tullymor's Blush, was Grand Champion! I would say that Kate has a good eye for Connemara Ponies!!! (2/17/19)

Providence Carson began his single driving adventures at the 2018 National Drive in Indiana

Gardner and I enjoyed sharing Piedmont Herman (Balmullo’s Beacon x Ruby) at today’s show. 3 tests, 3 blues! Headed to the Championship show next month! Kathee Cook 10/10/18

It was a real thrill to watch my homebred, Foothills Field Marshall, cruise around the steeplechase of a Big Prelim 3-day course at the KY Horse Park and tackle the big hard questions on cross-country. Elliott Timmons gave him a great ride, while her chief support and mother, Cathy Blackmon, along with owner, Donna Duckworth, and breeder, Vanessa Morgan, and Elliott's husband Eli cheered them on from the safety of the ground!

Congratulations to Zoe Schroeder and her excellent finish at the 2018 Hagyard Mid-south Team Challenge event!!! She finished 3rd in her division of 28 starters on her dressage score of 29.3. She was bested only by a professional who took both the blue and red in her open division. Zoe earned a 1st place for the best Junior rider placing on her mount, Piedmont Sundance, an 18 yr old Conn-TB cross by Balmullo's Beacon. It was such a pleasure to be able to share the experience with the Schroeder ladies:-)

Congratulations AGAIN to Vicky Castellano! For the 3rd year in a row, Tullymor's Kessie won her In-Hand class at the Midwest Connemara Regional show! This time, she was 1st in the Purebred mares, 5 years and over class. She was also Champion Purebred In-hand and Reserve Champion Performance Purebred. (June 2018)

We are pround to announce the arrival of a super cute baby colt by Tullymor's Mountain Thunder, out of our halfbred mare, Seaborne's Maritime, by Seaborne's Schooner.
Meet the precious Piedmont Woodrow, born 6/14/18:

I am super thrilled with the first competitive outing for my new/green driving pair, Providence Carson and Providence Bates. They earned a blue ribbon at the Middle Tennessee Carriage Club schooling CT! They did better than I expected in dressage and actually completed the cones with only 2 balls down put to the Roberts wagonette, though we did have lots of time penalties. The goal for this first outing was to see how they would behave at a show and as a confidence builder for them. It was a perfect first show:-) This is Carson on the right and Bates on the left; Carole Moss on the back.

Thanks to Joel Sherlin for starting them in driving and teaching them so much and to Elizabeth Keathley who put them on the path of becoming real combined driving ponies in a short amount of time!
